The 2018 referendum was for a $439 million General Obligation Bond that has already brought new and upgraded recreational amenities, almost 2000 new shade trees, sidewalk and street restoration projects, public safety upgrades, infrastructure improvements and groundbreaking amenities like the completion of the 7-mile Beachwalk.
The 2022 referendum was for a $159 million General Obligation Bond that will usher in a renaissance of museum expansions, theaters and public performance venues throughout Miami Beach.
